Grupo Kingans provides this privacy notice, in accordance with Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, to explain what personal data we collect through grupokingans.com, why we use it and how you can exercise your rights. This English version is provided for convenience; if there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Who is responsible

Grupo Kingans, located at Eugenio Aguirre Benavides 155, Col. Segundo de Cobián Centro, 27000 Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico. For any matter related to your personal data, write to lucas@kingans.com.

2. Personal data we collect

  • When you email us (for example, at hola@karakorum.mx): name, company, position, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
  • When you send your résumé to rh@kingans.com: identification and contact details, education, work experience, references and any other information you choose to include.
  • When you browse the site: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, date and time of the visit and approximate location, through cookies and similar technologies (see section 5).

We do not request sensitive personal data. Please do not include information about your health, religion, ethnic origin, sex life, political opinions or union membership in your résumé.

3. Purposes

Necessary purposes

  • Responding to and following up on requests for information, quotes and beverage distribution.
  • Evaluating your profile for openings at Grupo Kingans and its brands, and contacting you during the hiring process.
  • Operating the site, keeping it secure and preventing unauthorized access.

Non-necessary purpose (requires your consent)

  • Producing statistics on how the site is used, in order to improve it.

If you do not want your data used for this last purpose, you can disable cookies as explained in section 5 or write to lucas@kingans.com. Declining will not affect how we handle your requests.

4. Who we share your data with

We may share your data with the Grupo Kingans brands (Kingans, Bakings, Royal Leaf and Karakorum) when needed to handle your request, for example an opening at one of our locations. Service providers for web hosting, email and analytics (Google Analytics) also process it, solely on our behalf. We may disclose it to authorities when required by law or court order. We do not sell or rent your personal data.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use Google Analytics, a Google service that uses cookies to produce visit statistics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site also keeps technical security logs, such as IP addresses, to protect itself from attacks.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and cancel your personal data or object to its processing (ARCO rights), as well as to withdraw your consent and to limit the use or disclosure of your data. To exercise them, email lucas@kingans.com with:

  • your name and a way for us to reply;
  • a copy of an official ID (or of the document proving representation, if applicable);
  • a clear description of the data and the right you wish to exercise;
  • any document that helps us locate your data.

We will respond within the time limits set by law.

7. Retention

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes described and any period required by law; after that, we delete it securely.

8. Changes to this notice

Any change to this privacy notice will be published on this page, with the date of its last update.

9. Authority

If you believe your right to the protection of your personal data has been violated, you may contact Mexico’s Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, the competent authority.
