A story that began with one café in 2011.
Grupo Kingans brings together cafés, a pastry shop, a lighter-fare concept and beverage production and distribution in La Laguna, Mexico.
Our story
From one café to a food and beverage group
Grupo Kingans began on April 29, 2011, when Lucas Kingan and his business partner opened the first Kingans café in Residencial Senderos, Torreón.
Over the years, Kingans became a meeting place in La Laguna, and the group grew into new locations and new concepts: its own pastry shop that makes the desserts for our cafés, a lighter-fare concept, and a kombucha factory with regional distribution.
Today we are a team of more than 100 people, and we keep the same idea we started with: make great products, innovate and serve well.

Lucas Kingan
Director General (CEO), Grupo Kingans
Lucas Kingan is the Director General (CEO) of Grupo Kingans. Canadian by origin, he has always worked in the food and beverage industry.
In 2011 he founded Kingans with his business partner, and he has led the group’s operations and growth ever since: opening new locations, developing Bakings and Royal Leaf, and creating Karakorum, with its own factory and regional distribution.
His approach combines product quality, data-driven decisions and sustainable growth.
